Reflections on the month November

Reflections on the month November

The UK Hypnosis Convention: 1st- 5th November:

In any walk of life or profession there are people that stand out among the crowd. In the field of hypnosis whether it be for therapeutic reason or entertainment there are many. It is said that cream always rises to the top, and so it is with human kind in all walks of life. In the world of hypnosis, I have been lucky enough to meet some of these people, work with them and some I now call friends.

At the beginning of this month November I attended and presented at the UK Hypnosis Convention which took place in the Renaissance Hotel in Heathrow. Hosted by the wonderful Nick Ebdon it was as it has been for the past three years a celebration of all things hypnotic. We were privileged to have the most knowledgeable Hypnotherapist in the world (I believe) of all things scientific, Adam Eason. On the other end of the spectrum we have James Brown putting someone into a hypnotic stupor by writing the word SLEEP on a piece of paper and handing it to him.

Because of a bet a wager with the wonderful Belgium Hypnotherapist Rob De Groof, I had to do my presentation in a Belgium Football Shirt.

Gary Machine Gun Turner (my new name for him) delivered a one-day course in two hours. Only someone as fit as Gary could speak for two hours, only taking time to breath twice and not pass out.

Jason Linnet not only explained how to build a six figure Hypnotherapy business but then supplied everyone in attendance with the online information and training to do so.

My son Anthony delivered his No Self, Hypnosis presentation, which I have been physically present at many times and as usual I have no conscious memory of it as I am always transported to another dimension, when listening to it. In a previous listening, though, Anthony’s presentation did enable me for the first time in my life to have an out of body experience, which I have to say was beyond beautiful.

Mellisa Tiers as usual was brilliant, and through taking questions from the audience she enlightened the listeners in ways of enabling people to change that for me was the best I have ever her seen her do.

I was lucky enough to work with for the first time Kelley T Woods on our newly developed course K.E.E.N (Kid Empowerment Easily and Naturally) which we will be presenting and running a workshop on at HypnoThoughts Live 2019. Kelley was a joy to work with and I look forward too many years of helping the young together.

Apart from the Americans there were other great presenters from around the world, there was Rob De Groof from Belgium, a fact I will never forget, because he and I had a bet on the outcome of the England Belgium football match in this year’s world cup, which I lost. The outcome of which, was that I ended up doing my presentation in a Belgium football shirt, which I will treasure always. Also, Michal Cieslakowski, Giancarlo Russo, Angela Nutu, Michael C Anthony, Fredric Mau, Roy Hunter, Joergen Rasmussen and the worlds most handsomest man Eugen Popa, to name but a few. My friend from Brazil, Flavio Grzybowski, presented for the first time in England, and another good friend from Brazil the genius that is Alberto Dell ‘Isola.

Among the British contingent were some well-known presenters, including James Tripp, Kaz Riley, Turan Mirza, Helen Bremner, Beryl Comar, Karl Smith and some wonderful new speakers and presenters, Lucy Hyde, Janet Thompson, Marcus Lewis and many more.

Although the convention is about learning in the workshops and from the presentations, for me the joy and a lot of the value of the UK Hypnosis Convention, is in what takes place in the breaks between presentations and in the bar socialising. A time to make new friends and renew and consolidate old friendships. In depth talks about the subject we all love (no not alcohol) go on until the early hours.

The Gala dinner had Melissa Tiers as keynote speaker I am told that she was very good but my memory is, I now accept affected by beer.

The band I thought were great, I discovered after telling Nick Ebdon that I thought this, that it was his dad’s band. Later in the evening, Nick gave a rendition of Mustang Sally, to the delight of everyone there and he was excellent.

The message I got from this year’s convention is, I believe a movement toward a less is more attitude when it comes to using hypnosis as an agent for change. Those who are still endeavouring to make this simple therapeutic tool more complex, in an attempt to justify their own value will start to lose ground and as in the story of the Kings new clothes, will be exposed.

2019, I believe will be a break through year for hypnotherapy or more precisely hypnosis for personal change. There is a ground swell of opinion against the acceptance of drugs as the only answer to physical problems and a greater understanding of the power of the mind in overcoming physical and mental problems.

Increasing numbers of medical professional are not only accepting that hypnosis is a viable tool, but also learning the art themselves.

I have for many years been lucky enough to have my son as a partner in our hypnotherapy training academy ‘The Jacquin Hypnosis Academy’ and as a travelling companion on our adventures around the world teaching this wonderful skill. https://jacquinhypnosisacademy.com

2019 will also see me collaborating with Kelley T Woods probably the worlds most experienced Paediatric Hypnotherapist on our new course K.E.E.N training already practicing Hypnotherapists how to teach parents, teachers, social workers and other involved in helping the young how to use some natural learning skills (hypnosis) to empower and educate Kids.

I will also be teaming up with Kaz Riley who specialises in Sexual Freedom Hypnosis on a new course teaching ‘Sensual Intelligence’. The ability to overcome fears, limiting beliefs, inhibitions, misplaced guilt and shyness to enable the client to enjoy their own and their partners bodies completely without restraint.

Hull, Group Arrow technique, event: 10th November:

Last month my mother was taken very ill because of a mis-diagnosed medical prescription (mistakes occur, we are only human, even doctors), because of this my mother went into kidney failure and the prognosis was not good. With her kidneys failing, my mum was suffering incredible pain throughout her body and was unable to move, apart from her left hand and arm.

I visited her in hospital and ran the Arrow Technique and a technique that I call quantum healing. I called the next morning expecting bad news, only to hear that she was completely pain free, out of bed and taking a shower, on her own. This was beyond mine or anyone else’s expectations.

I made a decision in that moment never to personally ever charge anyone to help them out of their physical pain.

On Saturday the 10th In Hull at the aptly named, Freedom Centre, I held a free to attend event, for anyone suffering from chronic pain. This was the first but not the last of these events that I intend to do. All though my intention and desire, is that everyone I see, who seeks my help to overcome pain achieves complete freedom from their suffering, that is I realise an unrealistic dream. Although not everyone that attended the Group session in Hull were completely free of their pain, many were. Attached are some of the testimonials from the event.

At the time of writing the paper back and Kindle edition of my book ‘Hypnotherapy’ (Methods Techniques and Principles of Freddy Jacquin) has a 5* rating on Amazon, and is now out as an audio book on Audible narrated by me. I am overwhelmed by the interest in my work from so many people in the field of hypnosis, many that I admire and respect. Since its release in September the audio book alone, has been downloaded over 600 times. https://www.audible.com/pd/B07HHJCJ6X/?source_code=AUDFPWS0223189MWT-BK-ACX0-128259&ref=acx_bty_BK_ACX0_128259_rh_us

Those who know me personally, know that I love to tell a story and I have a couple of novels out on Amazon and Kindle. I have a crime novel, ‘Hypnotised’ (under my pseudo name F.H Jay Quinn) and my novel ‘Messiah’ under my name Freddy H Jacquin

My Novel ‘Messiah’ is about to be released as an audio book on Audible and am excited about it.

I am also collaborating with the wonderful musician and artist Dean Rhymes on some self-development and personal change audio books, soon to be released and a project to develop a series of children’s books for 2019 and beyond, so watch this space.

In between doing the above, I have been helping people change their lives, and training others to do the same. It’s been another full and enjoyable month with expectation for more of the same in December and into 2019.

Pain Elimination Event – Hull

Pain Elimination Event – Hull

On the 10th of November at The Freedom Centre in Hull I will be running a pain elimination event.

I have made the event Free for anyone in pain, to attend. The room seats around 200 people and I hope as many people as possible take the opportunity to free themselves from either their physical or any emotional pain they be suffering.

I will be using a psychological technique developed by me, known as The Arrow. This technique is being used by 1000s of practitioners around the world in situations where pain control medication is no longer effective, or available.hu

My hope and belief, is that anyone who attends the event will have their suffering eliminated or drastically reduced

I intend to continue to run these events throughout the UK and around the world, until the medical profession and especially the NHS can no longer ignore the efficacy of this non, drug, pain treatment.

Opiate addiction is now at epidemic levels and yet Medical Practitioners continue to dish them out like sweets, encouraged and rewarded by the Drug industries.

There is no profit for the drug manufacturers in a treatment for pain that only involves words, and that can be applied in minutes.

As I say to clients that ask for my help in overcoming the pain that they are suffering, ‘I am not going to give you any pills or potions, its only words, just your imagination, so what have you to lose but the pain?’

If you know anyone in East Yorkshire that is suffering send them along.

If you would like to put on a pain elimination event in your area and would like me to come and use The Arrow to free people in your part of the world, or train with me and enable yourself to do it let me know.

Between us we can change the way people live, eliminate unnecessary suffering and change the minds of many who think that drugs are the only answer for relief of chronic pain.

I will link each event to a local charity and donations will be on a voluntary basis, the event at The Freedom Centre will be in aid of Dove Hospice.

Hip No Therapy event in York

Hip No Therapy event in York

Preparation

Yesterday I held the first of my Hip No Therapy event in Fulford, York. As usually is the case with hypnosis gatherings, there were some great people there. Some had travelled many miles to be there and I thank them for believing enough to make the journey.

My wife asked me as I was preparing to leave to go to the venue, what I was going to do at the Hip No Therapy day, a strange question, considering that she has lived with me for over twenty years and knows that I rarely know what day it is, never mind what I am going to do.

I told her honestly that I had no idea but I trusted that something would come to me by the time I arrived at the venue.

My friend and virtual PA Deborah Plumb, (I say virtual because she doesn’t get paid) arrived and drove me to the venue. Stuart Hamilton my web designer had been recruited to film the event, unfortunately, we discovered that he had no idea how a camera works, fortunately, he is a quick learner.

The idea was that the day would consist of the audience asking me questions and asking for demonstrations of techniques and my methods of working but as usual, once I got talking it was a case of me speaking and everyone else trying to get a word in edgewise.

The Event

The first demonstration was what I like to call the Armotion induction a name given to the induction by my son Anthony because it involves, (you guessed it) the arm and emotion. Louise Downey was kind enough to volunteer to be the demo subject.

A question was asked by Tracy Woods about Parts Work or Parts Negotiation as I like to term it and unconscious communication. I explained how I use PN for phobias and habitual problem including smoking, cocaine and eating disorders. Then Tracy was good enough to volunteer to experience Part Negotiation to enhance a positive feeling.

Jacquin Power lift

Ann Varney allowed me to demonstrate the Jacquin Power lift induction with her and used the trance to demonstrate that laughter can sometimes actually be the best medicine.

We had a 45 minute break for lunch in which I stayed in the main event room, because if I eat I have to stop talking and as I stated, once I start it is hard for me to stop. A few intrepid members of the audience stayed so I stuck one to his chair and stuck another one’s eyes together just for fun, as any serious professional would.

After lunch, I demonstrated how I hypnotise a group of people by hypnotising everyone in the room as a group, with the exception of Stuart my ‘Camera’ man because I think he thought I may accuse him of sleeping on the job.

Angela Milburn kindly volunteered to be the demo subject, for my take on Quantum Healing which I combined with The Arrow technique. I demonstrated hand to eye induction to help Angela enter into hypnosis.

The use of the Arrow technique to increase Motivation and determination was demonstrated with Deborah plumb using the Elman induction to induce hypnosis.

We discussed many aspects of Hypnotherapy and the problems and perceived limitation that clients present with including healing, pain, smoking, fear, panic, eating disorders, loss and how to increase positive resources with us.

The day was only successful because of the audience participation, their questions and their thoughts and their sharing of their own experiences in helping others.

I hope they enjoyed the day as much as I did.

Reflections on the year so far

Reflections on the year so far

My hypnotherapy business and particularly our hypnotherapy training company, has enabled me to travel to some incredible places and meet some incredible hypnotists and hypnotherapist.

The focus this year in hypnotherapy seems to be on how hypnosis can help alleviate and or eliminate pain. My pain technique The Arrow which I developed in the 1990s has now been learned by practitioners around the world.

In January I presented the Arrow Technique to over 600 people in Brazil at the Hi Brain Institute Hypnosis Conference.

This was the biggest Hypnosis conference in Brazil, created, organised and hosted by the most famous Hypnotist in Brazil, Alberto Del’Isola. Also presenting were some of the most influential Hypnotherapists and Hypnotist’s in the world. My son Anthony Jacquin, James Tripp, Kelley T Woods, Melissa Tiers, Bob Burns, Rob De Groof, Michael Watson, Mark Savard and many more.

In April we were invited to Bucharest by the wonderful Eugen Popa to demonstrate our Hypnotherapy, methods, techniques and philosophies. Once again making new friends and associates.

In June we were once again in Brazil, probably the worlds most fanatical, hypnosis students, hypnotists and followers of all things hypnotic, in the world. Once again Anthony and I were demonstrating our Hypnotherapy, methods, techniques and philosophies.

In August I was invited to present the Arrow Technique in Las Vegas at the ‘HypnoThought Live’ Conference, probably the largest Hypnosis Conference in the USA. Over a Thousand Hypnosis fans attended. Once again, I met some of the most well known and well thought of Hypnotherapist’s in the world.

This month, September I went to what has become known as the ‘Gathering’ created by and hosted by Bob Burns, this was a Pain Elimination day, with presenters Beryl Coma, Emma Aimes, Carol, Bob Burns, Graeme Harvey and myself.

Next month I will be running my first ‘Hip No Therapy’ day in York. I will be demonstrating methods, techniques and answering questions on any aspect of my Hypnotherapy work and book ‘Hypnotherapy’.

In November The UK HYPNOSIS CONVENTION WILL BE HELD IN London where I will be presenting some rapid change phenomena therapeutic techniques.

In between these dates My son Anthony and I will be running our Profession Hypnotherapy course, The Arrow Technique Course and the Modern Hypnotism course.
